LRA attacks have created high levels of fear throughout the region, in large part because the people affected were and remain unprotected.
Despite two new pumps already being installed a large proportion still collect water from the ponds. Often it is the childrens job to collect the water with manhy still using the dirty water from the ponds there is a high risk of disease.
